The epic show that was created by netflix in partnering with Dota 2 creator Valve, attempts to bring a story surrounded by a possible scenario about the MOBA fantasy world. It is a strong indicator that netflix have diversify its targeted segment to be introduced into the world of modern gaming. This certifies them as a solid media platform that has a powerful grip into the context of gaming and its idea about giving form to the game through stories that progresses following set of rules and lores that is told by the perspective of its game maker themselves. The show was produced by Studio Mir that works alongside the company Kaiju Boulevard where the two studio have already produce a commendable set of past works such as the Legend of Korra and Young justice, which they all too familiar in knowing how to deliver a high quality product of show. It was premiered on Netflix on March 25 2021 at the height of the pandemic where the show receives influx of viewers and reviews which is critically acclaimed largely positive. Since people were confine back to their personal homes because of covid in order to pass the time, they would open up their tv's and log in to their devices to stream their favorite show. Dota Dragon blood being a strong contender amongst the list of shows to watch and being popularized by the same gaming company Valve makes it very attractive for people especially young adults to binge watch.
The story starts out with the introduction of the Dragon knight Davion who is sworn to protect the people from the powerful yet destructive creatures that are dragons. Being in the order of dragon knights he hunts down these beast and earns coins for a living a fair exchange to keep the world safer despite having to risk his and his immediate allies lives on the line. His journey took a rather peculiar turn when he met the princess of the moon Mirana, where he further embroils into the task of vanquishing an elder dragon known as Slyrak. However, before he could finish the task the dragon fuses his soul with Davion and he later became a real knight that is also a dragon that can be summon into form.On his journey with princess Mirana, they found themselves into conflicts with the moon elves, its goddess and the hidden mage invoker. The plot also took a surprise turn when the demon Terrorblade comes into fray and starts to destroy everything for his own personal conquest. The story is written by Ashley Edward Miller and Bryan Konietzko, the directors are as follows : Park So Young, Kim Eui Jeong (season 1), Han Seung Woo (season 2–3), Han Cheong Il (season 2), Kim Sun Min (season 3), and Mio Del Rosario (season 3). Art director is by Kim II kwang with composer Dino Meneghin. The voice actor are Yuri Lowenthal, Lara Pulver, Tony Todd and Troy Baker. It is a dramatic set of show and i would recommend people to watch it as it contains an interesting fantasy story but also great in art styles and music reaching the expectation of fans of the game and new.
